After casting Circle and Raising Power, present your tool as
follows:
NOTE: (name of tool) = Athame, cauldron,
broom, or whatever the tool is called.
Facing East, lift the tool in the air in presentation to Goddess
and God, and say:
"Oh, Goddess and God, I dedicate this (name of tool) to You,
my Lady and Lord. Fill this (name of tool) with magic and power so that it may aid me in my magical work."
Dip the tool or sprinkle it three times with sand from the
bowl of sand, and say three times:
"Be blessed with the Powers and Gifts of Earth."
Dip the tool or sprinkle it three times with water from the
bowl of water, and say three times:
"Be blessed with the Powers and Gifts of Water."
Move the tool in a circle three times over the incense and
candle(s) and say three times:
"Be blessed with the Powers and Gifts of Fire and Air."
Lift the tool up in front of you again, and say:
"Goddess and God, fill this (name of tool) with love and goodness,
so that together our magical work will bring harm to none and be for the good of all. And so mote it be."
Continue with other work you may have planned or close Circle as usual.
